The sad passing of Queen Amy, guardian of Middleham Castle

Anyone who knows me or has read my books knows how much I love dogs, so will understand how sad am to read this today, posted by Middleham Castle.

I was graced by many visits from Queen Amy in her Plantagenet finery during events at Middleham, and there will be a huge retriever-sized hole when I visit in the future.

Sending my condolences to Rosemary Thompson and Prince Rupert at this very sad time 😔
